Central Florida is a thriving community of adults who are embracing and cherishing this stage of life known as "PRIME TIME" (approximately age 50+). If you find yourself in this group, welcome! As we navigate this chapter, we often find ourselves with more time, freedom, and opportunities to truly enjoy life. However, many of us have relocated here, leaving behind our loved ones and the familiar. That's why we seek safe and meaningful connections to find new fulfillment in this season. Do you feel the same way?
At COTLakes, we believe that this "PRIME TIME" phase of life could be the most impactful and significant. As mature adults, we have gained wisdom and life experiences that we can share with those whose lives we touch, whether it's within our extended families or the younger generations in Leesburg. Our goal is to help each individual understand their unique design by God, recognize how their life journey has prepared them for this chapter, and uncover strategic opportunities to make a positive difference in our world.

- DREAM TEAM: At COTLakes, we celebrate individuals who envision better ways of serving our community with the love and support of Jesus. Our "PRIME TIMERs" (those over 50) hold a special place within the COTLakes Dream Teams. Their life experience, wisdom, and diverse skills make a significant difference in our church and community. The COTLakes Dream Teams serve through worship, Lakes Kids, Tenacious Youth, Small Groups, and 'Love In Action'. They also extend their service to the community through initiatives like the THRIVE Center, The Rock Programs, and collaborations with the Leesburg Police Department. Countless ways to touch lives with Jesus' love!
- LIFE STEPS: A four-week information session led by Pastor Mike will help you learn the story of COTLakes; our COTLakes values & vision, and help you find your ‘fit’ among us quickly! Join us any Sunday immediately following the worship service.
- SMALL GROUP: Groups of all styles provide a wonderful, safe place to build mutually encouraging friendships, grow spiritually and serve others.
- ADULT BIBLE FELLOWSHIP: 8:30am every Sunday in LHS Cafeteria. A wonderful experience for building friendships; spiritual growth exploring God’s Word the Bible together; hearing fresh reports of what God is doing through COTLakes in Leesburg; and of course coffee & snacks!
- GRIEF CARE RESTORE: Pastor Doug & Dawn Anderson walk with widows and widowers through their grief journey to restoration of hope and even joy in life. The healing love of Jesus, the comforting truths of God’s Word, and the presence of compassionate friends are powerful in the ‘valley of the shadow of death’.
- LOVE IN ACTION: Serving one another with skills we’ve developed, helping to meet the practical needs of life such as modest home maintenance or even preparing for hurricanes etc.
